Straw Technology

Plasma, serum, buffy coat, red blood cell, DNA, urine, mouth wash, cell suspension, bacterial or viral strains, gametes, embryos 그리고 gonadic tissue와 같은 액상 생물학적 시료의 동결 보존

Functional Plug

• 통기성 플러그를 통한 흡입에 의해 샘플 충전
• Polymerizing powder을 포함하는 polyamide 섬유로 제조
• 0.5 mL straw의 경우 7 가지 컬러로 제공
• 0.3 mL straw의 경우 흰색 플러그 또는 플라스틱 막대가 삽입 된 6 가지 컬러로 제공

Filling, sealing and identification

충전 직후 straw의 양쪽 끝을 전용 장비 (SYMS III, PACE, MAPI 또는 DIVA)로 열 밀봉(thermal sealing)

• Ionomeric resin (No plastifying agents),a soft non-toxic material, which can be heat-sealed in both end (withstand 150kg/cm2)

Traceability

• Barcode identification+additional alpha-numeric coding (fully customizable)
• Tamper proof and Liquid-Nitrogen resistantprinting
• Colour-coding through plugs of straws (7colours) and/or internal ID rods (6 colours)

Safety

• Fully hermetic sealing: no bacterial and viral contamination through wall and/or sealing
• The internalI Drod of the CBS embryo/sperm 0.3ml straw can’t be removed once the straw is sealed on both ends: tamper proof and damage proof ID of the human embryo/sperm
• High mechanical resistance (up to 150kg/cm²)
• Resistant to immersion in Liquid Nitrogen at -196°
• e.g.: used in P3/P4 laboratories

• Sterilization by irradiation
• Tamper-proof identification with alphanumerical code or bar code using an identification jacket. It can be removed after thawing for sample traceability.
